In 2013 soon after is daughter turned 16 she decided to go to college to do performing arts in dance and after signing up for this talked her dad into going to the music department to take a look at what music courses were available. After taking a look at a few courses he then signed up for a level 3 diploma in music technology which at the time was all that he was going to do but the following year in 2014 when he had achieved his level 3 diploma he was invited to apply for an FdA in creative music technology.

During this time in 2014 he had been thinking of some kind of stage name for himself and came up with the word PanEag which is derived from a black panther and golden eagle. It took a lot of research to come up with this name but luckily enough there wasn’t really any name like this existed so this is what was decided in round 2014.

After the next two years studying this course a lot of new musical knowledge and technique was achieved and at the end of the course in 2016 it had already been decided that a BA (Hons) in music and creative music technology was inevitable.

In August 2016 it was the birth of a new era and his 50th birthday had approached. At this point he had decided that it was time to take a leap of faith and from a quote on a T-shirt that he had acquired for his 50th birthday saying Life begins at 50 the birth of Legends this was to be the way forward for PanEag.
